Research on Policy, Norms and Practices on CEFM (Mozambique, Uganda, Ethiopia)

Generated evidence on harmful social norms related to adolescent sexuality and child marriage across Mozambique, Uganda, and Ethiopia. Examined policy-norm interactions, reference groups, and sanction/reward systems to inform gender-transformative programming and support behavior change among young people, families, and community leaders.

Assessment on Impact of COVID-19 on Ending Child Marriage (Egypt, Kenya, Malawi, Sudan, Uganda, Zambia)

Established the pandemic's impact on efforts to end child marriage across six Eastern and Southern African countries. Referenced SADC Model Law and AU Common Position frameworks to generate evidence on how COVID-19 affected measures to protect children and support those already in marriage.

Women Economic Empowerment Project in Zambia

Established benchmarks for advancing women's participation in agricultural value chains across Eastern, Southern, Central, and Western provinces. Assessed women's agency, decision-making power, economic advancement, collective voice, and the role of extension services in promoting women's leadership while identifying gender and social inclusion considerations.
